In this free two-hour class, Delaware County residents learn the basics - the ABC's and D of Medicare - including traditional Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, prescription drug plans, and Medicare Supplements. This class may prove helpful for:
- Individuals turning 65 years old, becoming eligible for Medicare for the first time.
- Individuals of any age who have received Social Security Disability (SSD) for 24 months, becoming eligible for Medicare.
- Individuals with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS).
- Family members or friends assisting a loved one with their insurance needs.
